Moderation Procedures
Last updated: September 22, 2026
Kpaxian moderation is designed to respond to harmful behavior without treating ordinary disagreement as a violation.
1. Intake
Reports can be submitted directly from a Transmission, a member profile, or a Constellation. Reports are stored in the moderation queue and a notification is sent to the Kpaxian safety contact.
2. Triage
Reports involving suspected child sexual exploitation, credible threats, imminent danger, sextortion, trafficking, or similarly severe safety concerns receive priority review. Other reports are reviewed based on severity, repetition, and context.
3. Review
Moderators may review the reported object, relevant surrounding context, account history, prior reports, and technical information reasonably necessary to understand the event. A report itself is not proof of a violation.
4. Action
Possible outcomes include no action, warning or education, content removal, feature restriction, Constellation action, temporary suspension, permanent account removal, or escalation where required by law or necessary to address immediate danger.
5. Child-safety escalation
Suspected child sexual exploitation or abuse is handled under the Child Safety Standards. Kpaxian may preserve relevant records and make reports to appropriate child-protection or law-enforcement channels where required by applicable law.
6. Review and appeals
Members who believe an enforcement action was made in error may contact support@kpaxian.com with the account handle, action, and relevant context. Safety-related restrictions may remain in place during review.
7. Records
Moderation records may be retained for abuse prevention, repeat-offender detection, security, legal compliance, and audit purposes, even when a member later deletes an account. Where practical, account identifiers are de-identified after deletion.
